The protagonist in the video game Kingdom hearts is a cheerful male teenager named "Sora" who lives on an island called "Destiny island", Sora lives on the island with his childhood friends "Riku and Kairi". Sora and his friends are separated one night on the island and he finds himself in a range of different worlds (Disney worlds) Sora makes new friends (Disney Donald and Goofy) who help him on his journey to find his lost friends and to get back home, but Sora is now the chosen one and holds the key, he is a keyblade master but with this comes great responsibility. I chose the game Kingdom hearts because it is one of my best loved video games. I also like the connections that the characters have with one another, especially Sora and how strong his friendship is for his friends. The franchise has been a huge hit and still is today. It has been over 10 years since the very first game, Kingdom hearts 3 is currently in development. The character Sora has grown throughout the series and the design of the character has changed in each game, this displays the character maturing and becoming a stronger protagonist.
